My story =P

Hey everyone, just voicing my story to the world. I hope ye all like it :)


                                                             The Wait.

               He lay motionless on his back in the long,overgrown, damp grass using his dark leather jacket as a makeshift pillow. It was here that he lay in wait. He sang softly, unphased by what he was about to do. Every so often a car would speed along the lonely, country road. He stayed as still as he could mange, despite his discomfort, to remain undectected. Heavy rain began to fall on his scarred face and tattooed arms. Deciding to move closer to the lonely house he rose silently from his place in the damp grass, picked up his rifle with a badly bruised arm and headed towards the house. 
            Looking at the lonely, isolated farmhouse, which stood beside a murky lake, he noticed the paint, chipping away from the house. Windows covered in grime and dirt made it impossible to see into the house. The rain rattled off the shed's roof and a streak of fork lightening illuminated the sky and the desolate house for a spilt second. It was almost an omen he thought to himself as he heard the car of his victim pull onto the lane, leading to the house.
           Calmly, he looked around the corner of the house and focused his dark, beady eyes on the black jeep turning onto the muddy, unused path to the farmhouse. Mud covered the alloy wheels and half of the var. Excitement grew in his chest as the young woman stepped out of her jeep. Her long blond hair was matted and scraggy from the rain. She was, he thought to himself, perfect.
          Jogging toward the house she avoided as many puddles as possible and finally reached the door. She paused at the door and fumbled in her bag for the eys. Cautiously, she looked around every so often as if she knew something was wrong. Her dark brown eyes fell on the shadows in which he stood but of course she could not see him. Just as she found the keys he seized his chance. He silently crept up behind her, holding his blade in his left hand. She turned. Terror flooded her face. A smile, showing his yellow teeth. spread across his face. She opened her delicate mouth to scream. He struck her with his blade into her chest and she collapsed on the porch. The sound of her last scream hung eerily in the air and dark blood spilled from her body soaking her crisp, white short in crimson blood. The strong stench of blood assaulted his nostrils yet he embraced it. As she stopped breathing he stepped over her body to be sure she was dead. When he was sure he had done his job he started packing his things.
          He checked to see if her had left any trace of himself by the house. He ran back towards the field and collected his leather jacket, an apple core and his cigarette case. He lit a cigarette and looked down at the house which now held a terrible secret. He smiled. His heart was still pumping from the adrenaline of the ill. The Assassin sat into his black sedan and drove away from the house, smiling, uncaring and calm towards his next victim.

Skulduggery ^^

I apologise for being so......slack with my blog to any *invisble* followers out there :'( but I'm back I swear :D

So..I can NOT WAIT!! For the sixth Skulduggery Pleasant!! Its gonna be unreal :D Also..The Burning Soul by John Connolly..both are out in Spetember btw ^^ both will be UNREAL!!

I'm listening to alot of You Me at Six at the moment..gotta love em..really good songs :D

Well....I know it was a very short entry but...TY is a busy place...=P

France =P

Me and my family are going to France =D about time! Im ddelighted so I am ;)> Cant wait! Its gonna be unreal!

Back to the cycling =P

So like I said my friends and I went cycling for four hours..satdone for about three in total..good fun but very painful >>

Apparently now one can actually be allergic to exercise..I think I may have that disease...=P

Cycling =P

So today my friends and I are going for a cycle near my friends house =P I usually hate cycling but I'll see how it goes x]

I finished Linger last night at 2:30am! Its brilliant! I wont say what happens but srsly I loved it =D. I cant believe I have to wait a whole year for the third Forever! Torture!

So yesterday I went into town with two of my best friends (the third is on hols in Italy =P). At first it was just me and one of my friends in a chemist. We laughed so hard at nothing, but hey what are friends for? Then we went into the town square and got cornered by a crazy man who told one of my friends that she was going to go to hell! All this froman "IQ" test =P

So I'll getback to you today after the cycle and let ye know how much damage is done =P

Linger =P

So I well and truly fell in love with Sam in Shiver by Maggie Stiefvatar and now the wait is over =D Linger the long awaited sequel to Shiver is out! I cannot wait to get my hands on it =P

I have to admit I'm a bit addicted to facebook but then again who isn't? ;) Its addictive with all the comments, quizzes etc!

New Blog =P

New Blog :)

So hey! This is my blog and i have to admit I'm a little nervous =] I've never done anything like this before but I love English and writing so I thought I could give it a go and join in the blogging phenemnon =D.

I would like to say that Irish eather well and truly depresses me as the sky is always grey! But that gives me a great excuse to sit inside and read a book or write this blog or just go online =D i hope the weather picks up soon *clasps hands*.

Like I said above I love to read and have read great books this summer such as the nightworld novels and shiver. Also hush hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. Some reads are just works of art! John Connolly has to be one of my all time favourite authors ^-^. His books give me chills reading them!
